Hi all,
Just been surfing some of the engine replacement sites listed in another thread about 7.4l repower.
One of the sites lists a V6 vortec engine (same as mine) with an aluminium timing cover from 2008 on.
Can anyone tell me more about these? Are they a straight bolt on replacement for the breakage prone composite covers? Is the oil pan the same? My engine's STILL leaking oil from the front and I'm up for ANYTHING that I can do to fix it....
