I'm new to this site and boats in general.
I bought what I think is a 1976 galaxy with an 850 mercury outboard, but I may be wrong. I've used the search ALOT, so thank you all for your knowledge. I installed a new starter wire harness and cleaned up the motor where I could. Is this motor a dependable one? Do you think it would have enough power to tow a skier or haul a family of 5?
