'90 HP force, 1991, motor floats in case?

Is this normal? I can grab the skeg and the motor has about 3/4" of play back and forth. If I have the cover off, I see that the power head moves with it so it's not that the lower is loose, it's like the whole thing can rock inside case.

Should be some play.Not a lot.Find anothe like yours and wiggle it.(sorry that's the way to check it)
