Evanrude tilt and trim

My ex put brake fluid in the tilt and trim on my boat, now it doesn't work. Would this have ruined the seals. It is stuck in the down position. I'm not sure what to do with this.

Welcome to iboats.

Remove the drain plug and drain it.

Open the relief valve and lift and release the motor by hand and re-fill the cylinder and do it 2 or 3 times to flush it out.

Is the trim motor running?

X2. The brake fluid might have damaged the seals, you might get lucky though.
