2004 200hp Yamaha OX66 High Pressure Pump Problems

I am having trouble with my 2004 200hp Yamaha OX66. I can crank the motor with no problem but after it idles for about 10 minutes it just cuts off and refuses to restart for several minutes up to an hour. Searched through several forums and I believe the problem lies in the electrical circuitry to the pump. This morning I ran the motor till it cut off and noticed the pump was not running anymore. When it finally fired back up I used a test light (that was all i had available at the time) and watched it until the motor cut itself off. I had the light touching the wires where they connect to the pump on top of the VST. I checked the oil resevoir sending unit to make sure it wasn't stuck but it is working fine. Is there a relay or something that sends power to the pump that could be going bad? Thanks for any ideas you guys may have.
