I asked this question before but I didn't get much of a response. On a 1988 Mercruiser alpha one 3.0 (ENG serial# 0B676300) what oil can I use to fill the trim resovoir. Is it hydraulic or motor oil?? Can I buy it at my local auto parts store??
Also, I picked up an extra heavy duty battery from a bus. It doesn't have the 4 terminals like a marine battery however, could I add the terminals extenders and use it as a spare battery??
Also, when I charge my marine battery is it the same 12v charge??
sorry for the trivial questions, this is all new to me.
