1976 15' rinkerbuilt 75 hp johnson cracked crankcase help!

hi there everyone. new boat owner looking for any information on a 1976 model 15 rinker. any pictures would be great too. looking to spend the winter restoring this boat. also looking for any input on 1976 75 hp johnson? which after closer inspection looks to be a hole in the crank case cover . any ideas of repairs to this motor is it worth it? any information would be super! thank you.

From the looks of it either a piece of piston skirt has broken and rod pushed it thru crankcase half or the rod cap came loose. Anyway it will need to be disassembled for inspection and repair.

wow thank you great fast response. thank you . just waiting for my repair manual to come in mail. i think you have it right on also noticed paint missing on top cylinder, looks like it got hot, played around with wires and found that coil wire was broken! would this cause internal damage? btw i bought the boat in motor

ok thank you for the replies.... in the stage of rebuilding now, just that darn flywheel givin me a little grief!
