I have located the missing prop from my Viking 3.5 hp outboard - the reason I took it off is that the seat where the shear pin sat has broken - I am having a devil of a job locating a replacement prop - it has the serial number 19265 on the rear. I was considering drilling a hole through the body of the prop and inserting a longer shear pin - do you think this might work?

have you tried cross referencing your viking with other motors, thought viking had other aliases. but drilling it out, making new pins from brass rod should work ok, you might have to get creative with a method to keep the pins in tho.
