1997,200hp, not going in reverse

3rd lower unit. Seems like not enough travel. Ratcheting sound.

Thinking about opening the unit myself.

Does anyone have a schematic?

Disconnect cable from engine and test by shifting directly on the lever. Might be a cable adjustment problem.
