Is paint stripper that contains dichloromethane 976 g/l, methanol 147 g/l ok to use on alloy boat

Whats the application ? What paint are you removing ? Do you have a link to the stripper your talking about ?

Just not enough information .. not even for a chemist :) .

3m paint stripper..... And it's paint on an alloy boat not sure about much els paint is all over the boat my grandad painted it 15-20 years ago nice and thick i was grinning it off with a wire disk that was easy on the outside but not so on the inside

Go to ace hardware and pick up a gallon of "Dad's" stripper. It sprays on as a liquid and then gells up. Let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes and then spray off with a pressure washer. Wear gloves and protective eyeware, it is some wicked siht.

Check out lakelovers thread. He used some Klean Strip in the Orange can on his Tinny and it took it off in a hurry.
