2011 50elpt 4 stroke. Just had motor and prop shaft replaced after nasty rock hit. First weekend out sounded fine but didn't open her up at all. Next weekend tubing - good workout - didn't notice anything but didn't idle much. Next weekend fishing - good rpm's and speed - but went to troll and sounded terrible (kind of chugging like it was labouring or exhaust plugged). Scarred me - limped her back to dock. No metal in gearcase oil, and cant reproduce out of water even putting friction on prop at idle (water earmuphs). Going to try hee out again this weekend. Any suggestions? Motor had maybe 40-50 hrs on her before accident.
