Drive Lube & Spark Plug Questions

I have a 2008 Volvo Penta 3.0GLP-J engine with a SX-A drive.

The manual says to use VP Synthetic GL-5 Gear lube SAE 75W-90. Can I use Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lube LS 75W-90 since I can get this locally?

Also, which spark plugs should I use and what is the gap? All I could find for my engine was part# 3851857 which is a kit that contains 4 plugs and not sure if anything else. I assume AC Delco's or NGK's would be fine but do not know which ones. Also, should I use anti-seize on the plugs? I always have on my cars.

Thanks for any help!

Re: Drive Lube & Spark Plug Questions

Don't buy the kits with Volvo numbers. They are junk champions. The engine came with AC MR43LTS plugs in it from GM, NGK BPR6EFS is also a good plug. As far as gear lube, as long as it says Synthetic GL-5 on the container, it's OK.
