Out on our boat today it overheated we took it into shore there is about 30 percent of the impeller missing. My question is how do I flush out the pieces were do I look for them. Thank you for your time. I'm new to this forum and the boat world

Re: impeller question

I would repost this in the outboard forum. tell them about your engine and they will tell you where to start.

Re: impeller question

I have a 97 Volvo penta 7.4

Well, that is kind of a start. You must have missed this part in the link.

1. Engine year, make, type, Full Model number, or a serial number if possible.
Giving only the year does not help, as that is the year of the boat and not always the year of the engine and drive package.
