Evinrude 65273s (1972 Evinrude 65 hp) max RPM at WOT?

can anyone help me I am trying to find out what the max RPM at WOT is for my Evinrude 65273s (1972 Evinrude 65 hp)

any help is greatly appreciated

I would have to say 4500-5500 RPM but if I'm wrong I'm sure I'll be corrected.

My service manual for 1973 65 HP (65373R) says the same boobie. 65 HP at 5000 RPM. I believe these two power heads are identical, with different shifting styles in the lower units.

Rated 65hp@5000, Full throttle RPM range 4500-5500. (Max recommended RPM, 5500). Aim for the higher end.

As F_R said prop it out to the top of the range when the boat is lightly loaded. The higher the rpm's on that mtr the longer it will last.
