Ahoy Captains,
i now have installed a new battery and have come up with some compressions on a 1990 Johnson 60 hp vro,
the compressions are 100 on 1st cyl, 0 on center and 100 on 3rd cyl,
any ideas on where or what i should be taking apart or looking at ?

This round of drinks is on me, Benni

if you have zero on the center cylinder it will need to be rebuilt, most likely due to a damaged cyl wall or broken/damaged rings.

Possible blown head gasket?

First step:: pull cylinder head to determine if it's a blown head gasket or cylinder damage. Might be time to get an OEM shop manual if you're planning to do any of the work yourself.

Make sure to soak and tap the bolts for a while before you pull them...I would also have heat ready in case you feel a bolt start to twist.
