Any tricks to installing an OMC Cobra?

I pulled my drive to check the exhaust for my missing flappers; now I have to put it back on. The manual (Sealoc) didn't mention anything about it being in drive and it came off fairly easily. I'm going to attempt to put it on tonight. So if anybody has any tips or tricks, I'm all ears.

No need for forward gear, thats a Mercruiser thing/
You really should check your alignment before installing the drive and grease the coupler splines. (yeary job).

It really is very easy but like don s said check the alignment eBay has them cheap and once its aligned it goes right in . Sometimes it takes a long screwdriver to move the shaft back and forth but just don't force things
