Have purchased second hand mercury blueband 20hp motor and found there is a crack in the fuel pump cover plate. motor starts first time round however thre is leaking water from cover plate due to corrosion. have not managed to find a spare part for this. anyone know where we might find spares or what we could use to seal the crack. typically are the plate aluminium or mixed alloy? would carbon fiber stand the heat as a alternative ? thanks garry
