I have a leaking, original, 52 gallon gas tank in my Starcraft that I am about to replace with a similar sized Moeller Marine Fuel Tank. Does the original tank have any brackets that attatch the tank to the boat or is the tank held in place by the injected foam that surrounds the tank? Thanks for any help and have a great day.

Welcome to iboats Warren:)

We have not seen too many early 90s Starcrafts gutted for a full restoration, but it probably has injected foam and brackets if I had to guess.

They started using the injected foam in the late 70s models on the larger hulls. Not fun to deal with compared to the foam boards.
