Once you have the fuse/breaker sorted out and have power again, you can diagnose the starter issue properly, not just throw parts at it and hope. (It's quicker and cheaper to do it the right way).
Start by arming yourself with a multimeter and a handheld remote starter switch. Put the switch across the starter solenoid switch, press it and check the voltage across the battery. If that's ok, check to ensure there is no voltage drop between the battery post and the engine block, then to the starter motor itself. If they are all ok, then check for voltage at the starter slave solenoid terminal that goes to the starter motor itself. If they are all ok, then the starter is faulty.
The most useful test in this type of fault is a voltage drop check across each component in the starter circuit. You need to see less than 0.2v loss along each component.
