Hydraulic Steering for AQ131A with 275 drive reccomendations.

I can see the crimp on the end of my rack and pinion steering cable is cracked. Its onlya matter of time before it fails me. I was thinking of upgrading to a Hydraulic steering since its real hard to steer when underway at low speeds. Any suggestions / recommendations as to what model would fit my engine + drive combination? Looking for something that wont hurt my wallet anymore than it should.

Teleflex steering is good.
Anything you get unless it's used is gonna hurt.
The original shouldn't be that hard to steer.
The cable's inner lining could be bad and binding when pressure is applied.The steering tube could be corroded too.

I have a rack and pinion control on there now. . A hydraulic system seems a little out of my budget for the moment till i get some other kinks sorted out. What is the difference between the rack and pinion and rotary type steering systems. Would either work for my engine drive setup?
