Hi too all,

I am having a problem with my boat and I do not know what it is. First of all I own a Wellcraft 18' Sportman 2000 with a 150hp Evinrude 00' commercial. I notice every time I move the throttle forward or backwards I hear a beep and the OIL LED turns ON (a red light). If I turn the engine off and back on, it quiets down a bit, and las soon as i move the throttle again starts the same beep with the NO OIL LED back ON.. Yersterday, thinking it could be the oil sensor which I think is a floating device inside the tank, I shook it a few times and turned back ON the engine. This time it didn't make a sound and it worked. What can it be?

Re: No oil led (update)

Is it the "no oil" LED or the "low Oil" LED? The low oil sensor is that float asembly in the oil tank. The no oil sensor is some kind of motion sensor on the OMS pump.
