I recently purchased a 1960 Starcraft with a 40hp Motor. I didn't notice at the time, but the tip of the nose cone in front of the propeller is broken off and is leaking oil. Is there anything I can do to plug the hole?
For a proper repair you should disassemble the lower unit and have it welded. Short of that you might try draining the lower unit and flushing the area real good with brake kleen and try some JB weld, might hold for you.
