I am having a real problem shifting my 85 Seville with Merc 170 engine. Most of the time it goes into forward real easy but when I pull back to neutural I have to really jiggle the handle ( Morse Controls) If I go from forward to reverse I am not sure the switch to momemterally stop the engine is working. Is there a step by step instructional manual available to adjust the cables to correct this problem? I have disconected the cables at the engine and they move freely, no binding or grabing. This is why I think it is just an adjustment problem.
