2002 25hp 2 stroke engine. Fresh water use. Driveshaft tube area in midsection is filling with water up to the top. I have replaced the grommets and gaskets on the water pump side. I have also replace the water tube grommets under adapter plate. I have replaced the gasket for adapter plate and powerhead base gasket. Water tube is not corroded or cracked. Impeller has both nylon washers on it. Adapter plate is not corroded. All gasket surfaces in good condition. Driveshaft tube is separated from exhaust passage by a full length wall, which has no cracks or holes in it either. At idle water comes out of lower midsection drain holes. At rom water fills up tube overwhelming lower drain holes and comes out of upper drain hole. I've been working on these for a while now and I have never seen this to this degree. Any ideas?
