I am looking at a 1987 18' stratos with trailer has 24 volt bow mount motor in front , in the rear is the tilt bracket and hydraulics but no engine , Said it had a 200 horse merc (Outboard) Will ither engines be compatable with the existing steering, Will a smaller engine say 50 horse fit on tilt bracket, Over all decent lookn boat new carpet IS it worth $1000 ?
