Hi, I have a 1998 F16 SeaRayder. I am trying to figure out what's going on. I have replaced the metal fuel filter several times, most recently this past weekend. The boat ran well (I was pulling a tube so running right at WOT) for about an hour or so. Then suddenly it didn't really want to crank up and when it did...it would only go to 3000RPM, any faster and it would die.
I'm thinking I have garbage in my tank and with the WOT and bouncing it eventually gets churned up enough to clog the filter.
What do you think?
