Hi i really need help , idk really how to instal a new clutch dog and fwd gear if its really hard if any guy can do it or would i have to take it to a mechanic to fix it . and where can i buy clutch dogs and fwd gear . because my outboard when in half- full throthle my outboard sounds like jolt kind of, like you hit a stump or something , i wana make sure its the clutch dog that is wearing out. need help please help thatnks.[/SIZE]

Start by getting a service manual. Ken Cook is the place to go for new, used show up on eBay. Make sure the one you get is for your modle.

I got the correct manual for my 50HP on eBay.

Read up on it before you take it apart. If you are still confused, take it to an Evinrude dealer for service.
