1966 Starcraft Jupiter V: Considering restoration project

I have recently purchased a 1966 Starcraft Jupiter V. Previous owner had done some restoration about 10 years ago; floor, sides, dash and seats. The floor is soft so I'll need to rip up the carpeting and start new. Also needs some paint on rails and bow. Windshield appears to be original bubble style with vent hatch. It's hazy and has a crack.

For starters I'm looking for suggestions on what to replace floor with and type of paint to use on rails and bow.
Also, I've heard I might be able to buff out scratches on windshield however it still has a crack it it but the original style gives it character.

Hey horn, welcome to iboats and the Starcraft brohood!

That Jupiter hull sure looks to be in good condition, nice score.

For you deck the most common rebuilds use exterior grade plywood, Arauco plywood or marine grade plywood (least expensive to most expensive, lowest quality to highest quality). Most guys will seal it up with epoxy resin but porch and floor paint will work too. Some fellas go the poly and fiberglass route for their deck.

For paint there are kinda two main camps. El cheapo Rustolium Professional and then pretty much everything else ($$).

Bummer about that windshield, those are very difficult and expensive to replace.
