i am having trouble starting motor while immersed in water, fresh or salt,if i sqeeze the fuel bulb to the hard postion it floods, even if i only sqeeze the bulb once it floods,i then have to take the fuel line off the motor, take the engine cover off,get someone to turn the motor over while i hold the throttle and the choke fully on before it will start, then quickly replace the fuel to keep the motor running, yet when i put the fresh water ears on the motor starts straight away.go figure it has me stumped,i am wondering if the fuel solenoid is working in water, please help

Sounds like carb float needles are not sealing, you should check float height adjustment if thats correct you may need new carb kits. on flushing muffs there is no back pressure on exhaust so it will start a lot easier.
