have a 2004 maxum 2200sr with mercruiser 5.7 2 alarms started on lake last weekend. First was from depth finder keep sounding and flashing DP but depth was showing over 100'
second alarm was a single short beep that would sound every few minutes. could not find any info in manual.

Ayuh,... It's either High motor heat, Low oil pressure, or Low drive oil, or a failure of 1 of those 3 sensors...

Is your alarm actually coming from the engine alarm buzzer, or something else?
