choke solenoid for 1974 chrysler outboard model 707hf

hi,
anybody have a source for a new/used choke solenoid for my engine? chrysler 707hf 70hp mine pulls in fine but doesn't release. it gets jammed in its pulled in position.

I have seen them on e bay but on myown I used a door lock actuator about $10

Before you buy. Clean it out with WD-40 and compressed air.Then clean it again.
Then you can adjust them.
I might have an old one.
Post a pic of it next to a ruler.I think they are all standard just wanna make sure??

Door lock actuator?? How about a pic??

photos no problem...sure these motors are universal..you must get the 5 wire one as it has switches at each end of the travel.....normally a lock motor is pulsed with 10 x 0.5sec pulses as you cannot leave 12v connected to the stalled motor.........so at full choke the swictch opens and there is a 22ohm resistor ( or 10w 12v bulb) across the switch to provide a holding current ...
you may think the mounting unusual but just not enough space to put it in line ....

thanks for the help. i did try spraying the plunger with wd40 but while it was mounted. maybe that's why it didn't free up. i'll remove the plunger from the solenoid and try to lube and blow it out. and let's see what happens.

show this door actuator lol I gotta see the... yes i have a parts guy....there's a fellow that bought every part in the mercury plant after they stopped making force.....for pennies on a dollar he's a gold mine
