20hp merc steering linkage/bracket problem

I am converting a 20hp merc tiller steer to remote with stick steering. I am ready to start hooking up the steering.

My question is is there any other peice that is different (from tiller steer to stick steer)besides the bracket that the cable end bolts to.

The bracket that the tiller mounted too does not appear to going to work with the bracket and link arm for the steering cable.

I am having troble trying to find any other parts from mercury that I might be missing:confused:

need more information how about year of engine, and or serial number.

Ok I just found some pics off the net and got it all figured out.

I was thinking that the the tiller handel bracket had to stay but it comes off and is not used with the swing arm bracket for the steering cable.

I was also confused about where the cable went through, but I see know that it goes through the threaded rod in the mount.

Its a 1999 Mercury 20EH.
