Hi guys just got my new minn kota maxxum trolling motor today and put it on the boat but not sure if I can run it off the same wiring that I used for my old motor which was a 12v (the new one is 24v) without damaging the motor or batteries ....the wires say 10awg and there's about 18ft of wire from the motor to the batteries ...thanks in advance for any help/advice you could give
