Suzuki DT 200 HP Exante ~1989 - low oil flow indicator & Tach & Speedometer issues
I understand that when the low oil flow indicator light comes on that I should clean the oil screen. I am mechanically inclined, but I have never worked on an outboard engine before. My Clymer repair manual does not show the location of this sensor/screen. Can someone tell me where to find it?
Next problem is that my Tach is just started working intermitantly. My speedometer seldom works & has never been accurate since the day that I bought the boat - 3 years ago. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
This is the infamous (from the sound of some of these posts) "talking" engine. Not sure if there is a volume control on the old girl, but I can barely hear her above the sound of the engine anyway...
