I need something for my boat but I don't know what it's called.
It's basically a thin-walled plastic hose, available in different diameters. It has a slit down the length of the hose (so a cross section would be like a letter "C" but with the ends touching). You can slip this stuff around wires to make them look neater.

Know what I'm talking about?
- Know what it's called?
- - Know where I can get it?

I need some 1" or 1.25" of "it", not for electrical, which is all tucked away neatly, but for my steering cable, throttle cables, and all the other wires that go from the throttle to the engine. Right now they are just hanging all over the place, and I think I can make them pretty neat with the right equipment.

You are describing a split wire loom. You can find them anywhere! Napa, Wal-Mart, AutoZone, Crutchfield catalog, Overtons catalog, Gander Mountain, Bass Pro Shops...just to name a few retailers! :D

Nice. I can wait for shipping. And actually I need to actually clip up the cabling first anyway to see what size I actually need, 1" or 1.25"
