i inherited a center console boat, 1999 Predator 180 C, that had a Lowrance x-24 depth finder on it. However, the screen is completely shot from being out in the weather. It has 2 wire leads that go down into the hull towards the rear of the boat.
there is no transducer on the transom on the outside of the boat. I have also looked through the port in the bilge where the bilge pump and stuff is and I cannot see anything in there resembling a transducer. When i was younger I remember this depth finder working and I do not recall there being a transducer on the outside. So, i figured it has to be a shoot-thru-hull transducer, but I cannot seem to locate it. Any ideas? Am i not looking in the right place? No, there is nothing on the trolling motor either.
