I've got a 150 V6 Mariner that Iv'e been fighting for a year. For the most part, it will not power up on plane ( rpm cutoff depends on ele. ) Iv'e tried different pitch props. Last time out, I switched out a switchbox that was in the glove box, and noticed the problem was worse so I assumed it was the switch boxes (both of em ). Hooked up the water and fired it up. Started right up, but upon accelaration, sputtered , And had a hard time climbing through the revs. hooked up an inductive timing light and discovered all three cyl. on the right bank lost complete power over about 1500 rpms. The switchboxes were BRAND NEW. Anybody have a clue.
