My engine is giving me an overheating alarm at half throttle or more. It runs cool at idle, seems to be pumping lots of water out pisser.
Engine has not been run for two years and now when i try it out, the temp climbs on acceleration.
its a 2002 efi saltwater edition, has approx 200 hrs. Was last used in salt water before being parked.
Any thought on why it might be getting hot at higher rpm
