First off, i have a 1971 Mercruiser 140, gm 3.0l 181cid.
I just got it all back together, and im curious were would i first check. The spedometer works, and i think the voltage meter works for the battery, but the tach and the trim gauge doesnt work, and i have no idea if the temp gauge works. it doenst move but maybe its staying cold? could my slave solenoid be bad? or is none of that correspond with the slave solenoid. Im at a loss here on whats wrong or were to even check first.
