I'm getting no spark after replacing old style mounted to the intake coil and pick-up in distributor. The engine only has 400 hrs. of use. Ignition is a thunderbolt 4. I am told that the brain is very reliable. I am getting plenty of power in and out of the coil, motor spins over good. Is there any way to bench test the brain or any way to diagnose the brain to see if this is the issue? Also is there a way to install a substitute ignition system to replace the old thunder bolt.
