I have a 54'-55' Seaking 12hp model# GG 9016A.

I have 2 questions.....the parts for this motor are interchangeable with what other brand motors? I need a tiller handle and found one on ebay for a 1957 GG 9016C and another for a johnson but I am not sure if it will work and not really into wasting the cash to find out.

I was also wondering about the gas to oil ratio for it. I have read a few different posts but again not sure. I really just want to get this in the lake with my son before school starts! Thanks for any info :)

I would expect the tillers from two GG9016 models to interchange, Christine.

You will find recommendations for 16:1 and 24:1 mix ratios. The presenters of each are quite sure that they are correct. If you are conservative, run 16:1, otherwise use 24:1. Just remember the rule: More than enough is harmless, less than enough is fatal.
