hairline crack in top of catamaran hull

How do I fix a hairline crack on the top of the hull of my Taipan Catamaran. I am afraid the crack will crack all the way through the hull. The hull is made of vinylester with gelcoat. If anyone out there has experience with this situation please help. I will need to do the work myself as I live in NM. Thank you . Andrew

Is it a sailboat or powered.
The other website I hang around notes a lot of hull failure with cats, (Powered ones).

post pics of the crack please.

i doubt that the crack will cause catistrophic failure if thats what you are worried about.

we can get you fixed up in no time.....in the mean time....search gellcoat repair

Thank you, it is a 16 foot catamaran sail boat. It is not where we are now so I will go to the lake where we have it and get a picture in a few days.

Thank you, I will check our gel coat and get a picture as soon as I can get back to the boat.

Thank you Yacht Dr.
We live on a ranch near Abiquiu, NM and the boat is at Lake Heron. I will have to go there to get the picture of the crack which will be next week sometime. I will post it when I get it. Thank all of you for responding. It is comforting to know there is help out there. We are off the grid.
