I just got a OMC 400 Series Outdrive, with a manual hydrolic assist shift. I got it when the upper and lower were split. My problem is it wont shift into forward gear, just reverse. When I put them back together, I pulled one of the two shift cables as I lowered the (what I will call the cable box) onto the lower half. Then bolted the box to the lower half. I dont think I did this right. I thought I got it all done. Had it back on the boat, and thats when it didnt want to shift forward......Its really hard to explain!! Does anyone know what the heck im talking about...LMAO
