The fast idle lever on my 1990 J70TLESB 70hp is so stiff that I can barely move it. Afraid I will break
something if I force it. Any suggestions on what to look for first / how to proceed? Thanks a bunch!
Dismantle the remote control unit and lubricate.
Sure it is not only the throttle cable starting to seize up?
In both cases, time to dismantle the unit.
