Cuts off at idlle or low rpms, doesnt do it all the time, just sometimes. Have replaced the primer bulb, racor, and lines going to engine. Cannot make out year from the plate. Didnt start doing it untill after I did an oil change, Put in new plugs, the sticker on engine called for o6 and they were running o5s (or is it the other way around?) Thought that may have been the problem but same symptoms after changing them back to the origional, (wrong) ones. We also removed the rear oil pan in order to repair a hole that was apparently made when the former owner tried to remove one of the screws holding the spark plug cover on. We made sure to line up the arrows before removing the Crank gear and belt. The guy who was helping me says that when he removed the main gear on the top it was two teeth off from being lined up, but when he replaced it he lined it up to the arrows. My question is this, Is it possible that it is supposed to be two teeth off the mark? I called a Mechanic and he says its impossible that it ran like that, if you all concur, I guess I will go after the vrs.? I did run it once without the racor rite before the oil change.... Thanks1
