how to make through hull exhaust, 260merc , se106sterndrive

was just wondering if i convert my exhaust to a through hull exhaust if i would gain or lose power, and to do this do i need to purchase different manifolds or can i adapt to that stalk merc small block ones that i have,

It will sound like your going faster. But that is about it. A stock motor running in it's normal range will not have a noticeable change.

o ok if their is not really any majore changes in power then their is no reson to do the change i think m thank you for your time
