88 15hp changed waterpump white froth from prop

Ran my 88 Evinrude 15 hp about 10 min. before I noticed no water from the top of the engine. I changed the water pump. Now there is a white froth coming from the prop. Whats wrong now! Please HELP. Could bad gas be the problem.

Better have it checked to rabies. LOL. Let it sit for a day and then open the drain/fill plug ever so slightly on the gear case. If water comes out then your problem could be a gear case leak. I would also check your compression as water/gas/oil mix can give a milky foam. Do the plugs look similar? Best of luck. Rick.

Could also be nothing more than unburned furl/oil coming out of the exhaust if you are running on the muffs. Follow Rick's advice and check all that he mentioned. Good Luck

Sounds like water intrusion! As sated, Pressure and vacuum test lower unit for bad o-ring/s or seal/s! Post your results!
