Removed the four bolts, foot drops down 2 inches but will not separate. I do not see any couplings or access points.

What next ??????

Lift off the power head and undo the shift-rod from the shift handle shaft!

Yikes, what an absolute pain in the arse to change an impeller on that small motor!

Geez. That is kind of a pain :/ I guess it's not so bad once you've done it a few times, but that would've stumped me for sure. Good luck!

it's not hard at all really. The powerhead comes off quite easily. I can do the whole job start to finish in 30 minutes.

I got it done, but it took me longer than 30 minutes just to get the power head bolts out. Old, can't see, and have stifff fingers, but it wasn't a hard job.

Sure appreciate the help.
