Do you normally get water spray from your transducer while running or is the adjustment not low enough?

Common on humminbirds. Fill the gap between mounting bracket arms. Humm... has a part for this. Wrapped with elec. tape is a temp. fix.

I've never had a problem with my old Eagle's spraying, 4-5 of them. The new Humminbird I just installed sprays like crazy, going to try FF's electrical tape temp fix.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Tape sounds like a good place to start.

I put a Hummingbird on my boat, If you mount it the way they say to it's to low.
They said to mount the bracket 1/8 above the bottom of the boat. Witch I did
that put the transducer below the bottom of the boat. Everytime I took off I had
more water in the boat then outside. I moved the transducer up till it was even with the
bottom of boat, all is fine now.

My new replacement Hummingbird transducer mounting kit for my 788 CI came with an odd shaped piece of rubber that was not in the original box. Turns out that the piece fills the void between the transducer and the mounting bracket.
