110 HP Evinrude Outboard trouble won't start

We have a 110HP Evinrude outboard (see pics) that we can't get to start. We are newer boat owners and need some help trouble shooting. It was shrink warpped all winter, fogged and ran good all fall. We have not gotten it start this summer (not many attempts though - busy). Have taken out the spark plugs and cleaned them off but still will not start. It will crank but not turn over. What are some things we can try to get her started or try to trouble shoot it?

Check for spark 1st. Then if it has spark, spray some mixed fuel into carbs, NOTE just a few squirts and see if the engine will fire. Post yer results! Good luck and welcome to iboats!

Since it ran when you put it up I would start by checking the spark, should jump a 7/16" air gap.

And make sure that you have it in water before you do this as it can cause damage to your impeller. Or have muffs on!

We have the muffs on. Tried taking spark plugs out but not sure if it was grounded properly (husband trying it) - so no spark. Will try the fuel into Carb. Still open for more ideas if there are... If this don't work.

If you have no spark, go to the CDI web site and find your engine and use their troubleshooting chart to find out what is wrong with your ignition system.
